Ben's Wedding

So these two are the reason for our great weekend!  Aren't they cute?!?
CONGRATS BEN &TRACY!!!

We had about 30 minutes of down time and Brynlee fell in love with the nursery at the church.  So much that we realized we got home with a Fisher Price toy tiger.  It's bad to steal from a church huh?  We will return it!

Brynlee saw Joe outside the window with the other Groomsmen. She was banging on the glass and yelling "Dadda Dadda"!!

The girls saw Tracy for the first time in her wedding dress through the window.  Carter yelled "It's the Bride!  It's the Bride!!"  Wish the glare was gone and you could see Tracy out the window with the bridesmaids.  Molly was too busy admiring herself in the mirror.  Brynlee also liked this mirror!

Papa Tom and Brynlee before the wedding!

This is one of my favorite pictures of the day!  Tracy and Ben with the all the nieces and nephew.
Molly -6, Ellie and Carter -4, Jack -2 and Brynlee 1  They all did so good!!!

The ceremony went great!  I was nervous about leaving the girls before they walked down the aisle.  Jen and I had to be seated before the wedding party walked in.  Joe was back there with groomsmen of course, but there was some time when the kids were with the ushers only.  Thank goodness Uncle Jake was an usher!  The girls carried baskets with silver flower petals to drop.  Brynlee's basket had Smarties and Gerber fruit snacks!  Lol  When it was time to walk down the aisle, Molly told her "lets go get Momma!"  and she booked it right down the aisle with Molly!  Good thinking kid!  When the ceremony was done, the wedding party and bride/groom walked out.  Then it was the kids turn.  They all filed out of the pew and down the aisle.  Brynlee probably realized I wasn't with her and put on the breaks.  Molly didn't miss a beat, she just scooped her up and carried her out!  Lol  Total Strangers came up to me at the dance to say how impressed they were that she picked her up and carried her out.  Little do they know that I am usually getting on to Molly at home and saying "Put that Baby down!"  Lol    Everyone got bags for wheat to toss at Ben and Tracy as they left the church.  The girls said throwing "Rice" and "Seeds" was one of their favorite things about the wedding!  Lol  We all were finding wheat in our hair and clothes that evening!

This little boy couldn't get enough of Brynlee. He was a friend/cousin of the brides. He hugged her and chased her. She wasn't having it! That's my girls...run away from those boys! :-)

They were ready for dinner and most importantly wedding cake!!

Introducing Mr and Mrs Murphy!!!

Pic by Aunt Gracie!  Ellie was mesmorized by Tracy and her dad dancing.

Wait a minute????  Is my baby laying on the dance floor?  Why Yes!  She is !  At different times of the evening, all my daughters were laying on the floor.  Amazing those dresses are still white!

Grandma and Grandpa were dancing.  Molly cut in and then Ellie joined her.  Then Brynlee ran out there after I took this picture.  Lol    The dance floor was full all night!

The girls danced so much I knew at some point they would just drop.  I didn't know if Brynlee would make it through dinner since she started rubbing her eyes at 6:30.  I took her back to our room (the dance/dinner was at the Ramada where we were staying!) to get her out of her dress.  I just decided to put her in her PJ's.  So she hung out at the dance the rest of the night in her monkey jammies!  Lol

We watched everyone dance!  Ben said he probably lost 5 lbs with all the dancing he did that night!  Everyone was so good to dance with the kids too!  Ben and Tracy paid special attention to them which made them happy!

My flash wasn't working since my phone was dying.  Brynlee in her PJ's watching everyone dance.  Brynlee and Ellie lasted until 9:30ish and I took them back to the room.  Gracie came back with us to chat for a while. Joe brought Molly back sometime after 10.  They all crashed the minute their little heads hit the pillow.

Sunday morning, Tracy's great Aunt Sue had a breakfast for everyone.  So it was fun to see the families the next day and talk about the wedding.  Tracy said it was going to take some getting used to being called Tracy Murphy now!  :-)  They are so happy and we are happy to have Tracy as part of our family now!  It was a beautiful wedding and weekend in general.  I will post more pics when we get some from the photographer.  She took some family pics of our family and I can't wait to see them!
