Halloween 2011
Halloween fell on a Monday this year. Molly's class had a party at school and she took her costume to wear when they did a parade to the nursing home and back. Ellie had her first day of hanging out at our friend Kayla's house since Ms Stacy had her surgery and daycare is closed until she gets back on her feet. Kayla has 3 kids and 2 of them are there during the day for Ellie to play with. They have lots of toys and a swing in their backyard...so Ellie thinks their house is the BEST! Kara, that helps at daycare, has been nice enough to watch some of our kids at our houses while daycare is closed. It has been an answered prayer for sure!
Molly wore her Halloween shirt and some LittleMissMatched socks. She said some kids told her that her socks didn't match and instead of saying "that's how they are supposed to be" she said she told them "well that's what my Mom dressed me in" Lol !
Ellie wore her Halloween shirt to Kayla's house. She was pumped to wear socks with smiling candy corn on them. Oh the little things! :-) I had an early meeting in Dodge on Monday so I picked Ellie up early and we rested before getting ready to Tricker Treat.
We visited Grandma Candy's house first. Papa Tom was on the truck so Grandma sent him pictures of these scary little witches.
We went into town with a trailer Joe fixed up with straw bales and pulled by the Polaris Ranger. We picked up the Girks first then over to get the Woolfolks. Baby Lyla got on for the picture, then stayed home to hand out candy with her grandparents.
Ellie didn't want to let go of her bucket all night!
Molly was the good witch that claimed she was a bad witch!
Eli was a fireman and Isaac was his dalmatian puppy
Cooper was Buzz Lightyear and Ryder was Woody from Toy Story
Here's a picture of our Halloween ride! Next year we will have to decorate with lights, streamers and balloons!
The girls were so tired when we got home that they took baths and didn't even want to eat a piece of candy. They went straight to bed and fell asleep in minutes! It was lots of fun riding around with our friends! The night was perfect and just a little chilly. We might just need a few more bales next year since Lyla will 1 years old and our Baby will be 11 months! Hard to believe!
