Christmas 2011
The day finally came! The day Molly had been counting down to for over a month, finally came! Santa didn't miss our house and he found the cookies and milk! He left a note saying that their gift was too big for our chimney and that he left it at Grandma Candy's house and they would bring it over!
Their stockings were filled!
Shortly after the girls woke up, Grandma Candy and Papa Tom arrived with their gift from Santa! Santa was right, it was way to big to fit down our chimney!
Santa brought them a John Deere Gator all of their own!!! The girls put their coats over their PJ's and took it for a spin! Molly drove like a pro, Joe's lesson's have been paying off! It was only 26 degrees out that morning, so they didn't stay out long
Joe and I got them some toys, clothes. puzzles, etc. Joe cooked breakfast for everyone on the grill and Candy shared some wonderful cinnamon rolls.
We had a lazy day of playing with toys and throwing darts with Uncle Ben until Christmas dinner at Tom and Candy's house. Jen, Jake, Carter and Baby Jack got into town in time for Prime Rib dinner!
Molly first question was if she could hold Jack. He is such a sweet baby and loves smiling at his Momma!
Ellie adopted Carter's new baby doll for the day. They had Great Grandpa Merle helping them dress their babies and put their shoes on. He was such a good sport!
They were eager to open presents!
Carter got a microphone to sing in and Molly LOVED it. I think that will have to be a birthday present for her this year! Carter sang a solo at her daycare Christmas program, so she knew just how to use it.
The little girls were too quiet in the kitchen with their M&M's. I found them all over the little table and the floor. Ellie was trying to get to them faster than Jen's dog Melvin did! Lol
We had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas! It was so nice to wake up in our own beds and have Santa come to our house. I love that the girls are old enough to understand Christmas and enjoy the holiday season. It just gets more fun each year!
