Rodeo

Wednesday night we meet some friends at the Dodge City Days Rodeo.  We took the girls and met the Woolfolk's who took Cooper and the Ruff's have 3 little girls.  We haven't been to the rodeo for years, but we used to go every year and meet Tyler and Tara there.  This was all before kids!  Lol  The way dinner was going for awhile we were thinking we might have to get that tradition back of the rodeo without kids from now on!  Lol  Molly was great, she so happily ate her cheese enchilada and chips/salsa.  Ellie and Cooper just wanted to get down or stand in their high chairs.

Cooper is really into the bull riding.  He tries to pretend his mom is a bull sometimes and will rope anything that stands still.  He was even "branding" his plastic bull at the dinner table with great sound effects!

A guy we know from Coldwater competed in the Steer Wrestling

Amazing I got this shot before the 2 little ones took off again.  Molly did so good!

It was "family night" and there was this dog show.  The dogs did tricks with the clowns.  I was impressed!!!

The Mutton Busting was hilarious!  Those little kids would hold on for dear life on those sheep.  Joe told Molly she was going to do that and she was not having it!  Maybe Ellie will one of these days!  I am for use Cooper will next year, lol.

We went down and found some cotton candy and looked at the little shops set up.  Molly found the headband above with a sparkly flower on it!  Molly and I are big cotton candy fans, Ellie was more interested in the snow cone Tara bought and Cooper like my cotton candy too.  So we fed each others kids!  Lol   The night ended with a fireworks show and a quiet ride home with 2 sleeping kids!  The girls had a great time watching the moos and giddyups (as Ellie calls them), I am sure we will try to go back next year!!!
