Merry Christmas!

The girls slept in on Christmas morning!  When the girls got up they found Santa had filled their stockings and left them a note.  The note was the first clue to their Scavenger Hunt to find their "Santa gift".  The clue lead them to the drawer full of hairbows, to the kiddy gate at the stairs and down the stairs where they found...a playhouse for them to share!  The playhouse will stay inside until it is warm enough to move it outside.  Hope the elves come back to take it apart to move it outside!  Lol!  The girls loved it and they really like the working doorbell!  Tom and Candy came over to watch the girls open gifts Christmas morning.  We stayed home and played all morning and took long naps, then headed to the Murphy's for Christmas dinner.  Jen, Jake and Carter came back and Ben has been back from school for a week now.  We had Prime Rib and twice baked potatoes this year.  It was WONDERFUL!  I think that will be the Christmas meal from now on, if Joe has any say in it!

The girls in their playhouse

Molly digging into her stocking.  Ellie was more interested in eating the crumbs from Santa's cookies.  haha

Molly got new boots for Christmas (her big request) and all she said was "there is no John Deere on them".  Hmmm, picky picky!  The pink Ropers will have to do this time around!  :-) Jen and Jake spoiled her with John Deere boots last time, haha!

Ellie loves her Little People Noah's Ark!  This is her favorite toy in the nursery at church, where we end up every Sunday!  Chatty, Chatty Child!

Molly asked for the Little Momma doll that has her own potty and sink.  She talks and drinks from a cup.  Molly also got a "Ipod" MP3 Player that she loves.  We downloaded some songs on it last night.  Her first request was Big Green Tractor and Chicken Fried!

Cami got a note from Santa too--that guy--he is so clever! And the things he can get in that little ole sleigh--it makes me smile--I will be SOO sad when no one believes anymore! Guess that's a good reason to have so many kids, so far apart:-) Glad you had a good Christmas! The girls are looking so big!!
