Ellie update...
Ellie has turned one and she seems to have grown up some in the last week and a half. Ok, it probably my imagination! But Joe has noticed the new words she is saying too! It is like she just realized that she can mimic what we say. She waves and says "Hi" and "Bye Bye". She says Momma more and PuPu(puppy). I think Gaga is Dadda. We are working on Dadda and Molly. That way she can yell for other people than me! Haha Don't worry, she still isnt' walking and doesn't care too. Maybe next month!
Ellie had her 1 year checkup yesterday in Pratt. She was a HAM at the dr office to the receptionist and the nurses. Big smiles, silly faces, chatting, waving, etc. THEN...Dr Cannata walked in. She let him have it. I don't know how he listened to her lungs/heart with all that carrying on and trying to crawl off the exam table. I guess with that kind of crying he knew her lungs worked! He checked out her skin rash and it looks great now. Almost gone! We can stop using the medicine unless she has a flare up again. We have cut out all tomatoes, peaches and citrus from her diet and it has made a world of difference! They think she will outgrow this as her skin toughens up with age. He went to leave the room and she flashed him a big smile. Guess she likes him if he keeps his distance!
She weighed in at 22lbs 5oz and 28 1/4" long! Both of my girls are getting long and have outgrown their jeans. Molly looks like a ragamuffin with her socks showing since her jeans are too short. 3 little pairs of jeans came in the mail today, so hope these fit. Molly's might be long enough but don't know how she will hold up 4T pants on that skinny little bottom. Both girls are growing up way too fast!
