Coldwater Parade

Coldwater celebrated their 125th birthday last weekend! They had tons of activities, a parade, BBQ cooking contest and feed, a street dance ,etc. I took the girls over to the parade. I was really impressed! Lots of entries and the band played. You would have thought it was Halloween with the amount of candy all the kids had! My social butterflies loved it. Ellie flapped her arms and kicked her legs while riding in her stroller. People walking by just laughed or made comments about how happy she was. Molly was excited to find her friend Reece there with her Mom and little brother, Cass.

Oh Molly! Of course, the parade is "too loud Momma"! It wasn't as loud as the Wellington parade we went to, but there were some big monster trucks that were loud.

Molly LOVED the firetrucks! She has a book "Firefighters to the Rescue" that she really likes. I thought this made a neat picture!
Joe got home from a golf tourney in Larned and we went to the BBQ feed, it was really good! It was in the Coldwater park, so the kids could play and run around after we ate. It was fun to see all the people that were back in town for the celebration! Then we went to the Huck's house and sat outside and listened to the music from the street dance. We finally ventured down to the street dance. It was cold, Ellie was already asleep in the stroller and Molly was asking "when can this be done, momma?". So we packed up and headed home.
